My favourite #organic #bakery cum #cafe takes part in the #verpackungsfasten campaign to avoid package waste and offers a discount to everyone who takes bread and cake away in their own bag or container. It's easy to always carry a cotton bag with you (can be washed with your towels).

#Seasonal, #easy_to_make, #zerowaste and #eco_friendly: #October is the perfect time to do your #washing with #horse_chestnuts: Collect about 12 horse chestnuts, cut or crush them into small pieces, cover with 500ml boiling water and leave to rest. The milky liquid #detergent may be used after half an hour but is better left over night and can be stored in the fridge for about a week.
