There are only 2 journalists in regular newspapers I trust to write about railways: Olivier Razemon in Le Monde and Peter Neumann in Berliner Zeitung. And Tagesspiegel and Politico can be ok.

But the rest? Forget it. They regurgitate any old crap the rail industry or governments or EU institutions give them.

To be working on a topic where the moment anything gets wider traction you know it’s going to be poorly reported is… pretty tiring.

When people say that European Sleeper is a new night train between Brussels, Amsterdam and Berlin, they are right - it is LITERALLY 1 SINGLE TRAIN

It will go westbound 3 nights a week, and eastbound 3 nights and week, and have 1 night for servicing it
